Swarm season is just around the corner. Typically honey bee hives swarm in May but you may see swarms as early as April depending on the weather. Don't be scared. the bees are just looking for a new home and will usually move on within 24 hours. Swarms are very docile. Call us if you would like a beekeeper to come and remove the hive and relocate it to a safe location.

A single hive can have up to 80,000 bees and is frequently (though not always) located in a hollow tree. Bees & Trees offers a variety of honey bee services:

As important as they are, honey bee swarms can cause problems at your home or on public property – but we have the knowledge and experience to help. We can provide a full range of honey bee services to residents of Longmont, Boulder, and surrounding areas. We offer evaluation of your bee situation, removal or relocation of swarms, setup and education for your personal hive and other related services.
